What is legal concerning butterfly knives?

I need to know what is legal concerning butterfly knives in California. I need to know what is the legal length for a butterfly knife is. I also need to know the age limit, and whether or not butterfly training knives are legal, even if they are above the length limit. And if anyone knows anyplace i can buy these legally and free in California, that would help too. Thanks.
